Projection Screens

With just a quick search online you will discover that the internet is flooded with various make and models of projection screens. Unfortunately most of them use cheap paper like material, weak motors and square metal box section casing. With only the very best screens costing thousands of pounds offering anything good enough for cinema use, we searched hi and low for a high quality screen range that was still sensible money.

Finally we found Grandview and the “Cyber Series” top of the range selection of home theatre screens. Available as a simple Manual Pull Down Screen with slow retract mechanism, Electric drop down screen with built in IR remote/12volt trigger and Electric Tab Tensioned Screen with side tensioned cables. For more dedicated cinema rooms they offer a superb Fixed Frame Screen and Fixed Frame Acoustic screen that has a unique hi-tensioned material and black velvet aluminum frame. For a completely discreet installation a recessed In-ceiling screen is available that also features IR remote, 12volt trigger and a motorized trap door.

Grandview Cyber Manual Pull Down Home Cinema Projector Screens

The most affordable way to have a projection screen, but by no means a compromise to the quality of image. The Grandview Manual Pull Down screens use the same multiple screen material as the Electric projection screens. The material can be pulled down to position, then when released slowly retracts up in to the casing. With a wide viewing and high contrast material this is probably the best manual pull down screen on the market.

In-ceiling 16:9 Projection Screens

The Cyber series In-ceiling screen uses the same quality material and also features the IR remote and 12volt trigger of the standard surface mount Electric projection screen. The unusually quiet operation is due to the unique way that the motor section of the housing is separated from the ceiling section of the housing by a rubber seal. This stops any vibration travelling through into the ceiling void, amplifying the sound. An issue found with other In-ceiling designs. This along with the trap door mechanism makes this screen the perfect discreet option for projection
